Foul and surface water runs, manholes and chambers, gullies, channel drainage and attenuation systems, installed to falls and tested before anything gets covered. Tonbane installs drainage as part of the groundworks package on developer and main contractor sites across London.

Pipe runs laid to the falls on the drainage layout, bedded and surrounded to specification, with invert levels checked as the run goes in rather than argued about afterwards.
Precast and in situ chambers, benching, cover levels set to the finished surface, and step irons or safety fittings where the depth calls for them.
Attenuation crates, tanks and flow controls installed to the drainage strategy, including the geotextile wrap and the connection detail that the approving authority will actually want to see.
Air and water testing, CCTV survey where it is specified, and a marked up as built layout so the drainage is signed off rather than assumed.
Yes. Attenuation crates, tanks and flow control chambers are a regular part of the packages we run, including the Ealing basement and the Waltham Forest Town Hall external works, where the drainage and attenuation went in alongside the excavation.
Normally the client or the design team holds the agreement with the water authority, and we build to it. If a connection needs to be made under supervision we programme it around the water authority visit rather than digging and hoping.
Always. Air testing goes in before the surround is covered, and water testing or CCTV follows where the specification asks for it. Testing after the slab is down is not testing, it is excavation.
Yes, where the site suits it. It is more common for the drainage to sit inside a wider dig and RC package, because the levels and the programme are easier to hold when one contractor owns both.
Underground drainage and attenuation formed part of the West London basement, the Waltham Forest Town Hall external works and the Osier Way scheme for Pocket Living in Leyton, so the pipework, chambers and attenuation on all three were ours.
Based in Ealing and working across the London boroughs most weeks, with the Bucks and Herts fringe reached on utility and commercial contracts. If your site is on the list below, a look at the drawings is a short conversation away.
